I've been searching for help with my trauma for 30 years. Therapist after therapist would listen to me in 50-minute segments and then spend the last 10 minutes writing notes. They would do their best to help me deal with whatever maladjusted part of my life I was facing at that point, but none took on the whole trauma and the effects it had taken on my being.

A week before talking with Shannon I sent the story of my trauma in with my request to be treated by the trauma psychology department at the best university in my state - a group known for being the best in the region. It was presented to the entire psychology team and I was told that each of them turned me down because they felt that they either did not have enough experience in that area to help or that they were concerned about being traumatized themselves. It brought me to tears.

Less than a week after being turned down by the top psychologists in my region I received the following words in an email from Shannon after sending the same story to her asking for help. "Not working with you is not an option for me," she wrote, and again I burst into tears, but for the opposite reasons.

In the next two weeks of working with Shannon, she helped me get through more trauma work than I'd been able to get through in many years of traditional therapy. She will quickly and humbly claim that I did the work and that she just helped guide me in the right direction, but she will be wrong in saying that. Shannon White has put in massive amounts of trauma recovery in her own life and leads and lives by example. And she puts in amazing effort to understand your trauma and how to help guide you through your recovery process.

I was brought to tears once again one time when Shannon sent me a picture of a couple of books she'd picked up and planned to read so that she could "better understand and know" what I was going through and my trauma. For the first time in my life someone cared enough about my recovery to make an effort to understand MY trauma better. That's Shannon. That's the kind of coach she is.

Make an investment in yourself by having Shannon White as your trauma recovery coach! I promise, you will be forever grateful that you did.

Shannon, you are teaching me how to find safety and happiness that I had no clue existed, and you're the first person I've met that I can honestly consider genuine about how deeply you care for others.

She is amazing. She is patient, kind, listens with a true heart with real intentions of delivering help and giving me the tools to use to work through my traumas. I would highly recommend this business to anyone wanting help!

Shannon came across my Tik Tok page & I was immediately blown away by her verbiage & the way she presented herself. I live all the way in NC and meet with her weekly on zoom. She has completely changed my life.
I recommend her to everyone. There needs to be more resources in the world like Shannon!

For those of us who hate admitting we need help sometimes it's hard to open up about our problems, worries, our faults, or our past. I've been to multiple people to talk and it's always felt forced and like a doctors appointment with no real results. But not with up north, for once i finally have someone who gets me and actually gives me constructive answers and tools that help me and comfort me. We just talk and the process is so natural. I'm very grateful for shannon and the time she's invested in me I know it hasn't been easy but she has shown me that I'm worth it.

Shannon gave me a new outlook on self care and has a sincere attitude of empathy that makes emotional maturation easy and readily attainable.
